Future Metrology Hub launches first feasibility call

The EPSRC Future Metrology Hub is pleased to announce its first feasibility call to conduct novel research at TRLs 1 to 3 in three distinct areas:

  1. Photonic integration for metrology sensors,
  2. Novel methods for automating metrology, and
  3. Measurement in challenging environments.

Projects can include the development of new technology for metrology, new techniques to utilise existing technologies or novel applications for metrology which yield a step change in manufacturing capability.

The call is open to all UK academics eligible to receive EPSRC funding and is the primary mechanism for new academic collaborators to engage with the Hub. Awards are limited to projects with a maximum duration of nine months and maximum value of £80,000 at full Economic Cost (fEC), with funding being provided at 80% of fEC.

The deadline for applications is 16:00 on Friday 23 February 2018.
